My name is Ingrid, I’m from Norway and I was born in 1995.

This is me at school:

This is me at the barn:

I started riding at the age of two or something, this is a photo from when I was 6 years old, I think, riding a Shetland pony at the barn where my sister had her horse:

This is me on my sisters Dole horse, at the age of 7:

In 2007 I got my first horse. He was an icelandic horse called Nökkvi. I only had him for half a year before he died on December 23, 2007:

But I didn’t only get one first horse; I got two. This was my first Fjord horse, called Blondie:

This is my sisters horse and me at the time I had Blondie, This is a Dole horse called The Pearl:

The spring of 2008 I moved to another barn, and started at the riding school there. This is me and one of the school horses, called Udo Quick, a KWPN.

After a while I started working there. I worked at the barn cleaning the stalls, cleaning the horses, saddle them up for the riding lessons, and got to train one of the best and youngest School Horses. He is called Touch, and this is from our first dressage competition:

This is from last summer, when I got to borrow him for the summer show. I got to ride one round, and that is one of my best rounds ever. I miss him like crazy.

After I had Touch as a lease horse, I got Uropa M. He is a warmblood from Netherland, starting 1.20m - 1.30 at competitions. At that time I was only trail riding, his owner did all the training of him. He was a lot of fun, but also a lot of trouble. Still love him though! That is one of those super expensive competition horses, hahah.

Last summer I was riding an icelandic horse again. His name is Fölvi, and is 6 years old. He is a horse I really, really work with, I have never had such a good chemistry with a horse before in my whole life. I was sooo close to buying him, had it only been next year then he had been mine. Because my sister have just bought her own farm, but they have to renovate it, so we can’t move any horses to the barn there before next year. And in the meantime he is probably getting sold.

This fall I got my second fjord, still leasing. I don’t really have the money to buy my own, so.. But yeah, this is me and my Fjord Horse Strindlilja.

She is a 5 year old Fjord, and is really a horse used to pull wagons, And I’m trying to learn how to do that, but I’m still mostly training her in dressage. At this time she doesn’t know how to jump with a rider at all, but I hope she gets the hang of it.
